Drivers travelling west on London Road are being diverted while cycle spine works continue near Black Dog Way. Gloucestershire Highways said the westbound closure is between Great Western Road and the junction of Black Dog Way and Bruton Way. Eastbound traffic remains open, with a signed diversion in place. The restriction is expected to remain until early October 2026. Cyclists using the affected section are being asked to dismount where signs instruct them to do so and use the footway.
